Of late I have had a number of calls, online buzzes and people walking directly into my office to let me know how much they appreciate the work that we are doing. It’s always a source of encouragement for me, and my team, that what we are doing is being appreciated.
I’ve got calls from people saying they got jobs through our job site, people saying their lives have changed reading these articles, and people just calling in to say thank you. I’m grateful to all these people for not concealing their feelings, but letting us know and letting us receive motivation to continue. Most importantly though, I am grateful to God, his grace and mercy have been at the heart of my progress.
I met a young man lately, he tells me he has been going to sleep every night since he came into contact with this site, reading and reading. I was shocked when he told me that reading from here has changed his life completely and what was most shocking for him, was that he has never seen me in his life, and I had so much impact on him. I took time to interview him, to understand how he has transited from scamming to legitimate business in 2 weeks. I welcome you to read this interview of a changed man.
Adeolu Akinyemi: Ok…My friend… I’m trying to use my friend to keep your name anonymous… I think it’s better like that for now… What is your current resolve and what informed this resolve?
newguy: presently, I am trying to get my acts together and do something worthwhile that I can show and talk about in public
Adeolu Akinyemi: Hmmm… Interesting, When did you resolve to do this, and what informed the resolve?
newguy: for a couple of months I have been going through a phase of self rejection and self defeat, my self worth was dwindling due to the fact that I keep having more than enough at a time and getting broke after a couple of months
newguy: so my life kept having ups and downs
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm…
newguy: during this time I kept looking for something I could do, till I bumped into your website, I was actually looking for something else when I did
newguy: since then it was like I had to read from there to stay focused, I got ideas inspirations and all
newguy: funny enough it started with the sapphire thing from First Inland Bank
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmmm… go on; let me know when I need to ask another question
newguy: when I saw the advert of how you cold make N500,000 every month with some work being done of course, I liked it, and decided to give m time to it and see if things could change
newguy: well not that I made that much so far, but it opened up my thinking and I started doing more researches on the internet and about online businesses that people could go into a make a bundle from without cheating or deceiving anyone
newguy: while I was doing this I kept reading form your site of course and I saw investment opportunities, especially the one you wrote on Canadian diamonds, it made a lot of sense to me and I decide to look for funds and go into it and other ones you wrote about, all this while I was still working on the sapphire thing
Adeolu Akinyemi: Hmmm… Without cheating or deceiving anyone.. that makes me curious, can you briefly describe your life before now?
Adeolu Akinyemi: What were you doing and how… give us your background… finished school… what next?
newguy: ok let me start from when I finished school, thatโs was I graduated 2004 from the university of Calabar, February to be precise, and of course the whole world was staring me in the face with the reality of how to generate income and become a big boy overnight in Lagos
newguy: I saw small boys in my area making raves and spending lots of money without a care in the world, this really intrigued me
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm..
newguy: I decided to find out what they were doing, coos I wanted to make that much money too
newguy: I did, and got into business big time,
Adeolu Akinyemi: Business – What were you selling?
newguy: made some money in a short while, bought myself a posh car, an Audi A4 to be exact, 2000 model, cost me about N1.6million, this was only about 4months into the business
newguy: lol
newguy: selling?
newguy: I was into runs
Adeolu Akinyemi: wow…
newguy: you know, big boys business
Adeolu Akinyemi: I’ll assume I know what that is… scam, yahoo yahoo?
newguy: lol
newguy: I didnโt like that word yahoo yahoo
newguy: I preferred guy man as the Ibo boys will call it
Adeolu Akinyemi: aah… so this is what they call guy man..
Adeolu Akinyemi: Ok, so business boomed very fast… and now you have decided to stop?
newguy: yeah it did, I made a lot of money in a short while, and initially I thought I was going to be able to invest this, but forget it, when it comes that fast you get carried away
newguy: you go clubbing, drinking Hennessey
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmmm…so its truly easy go easy come right?
newguy: showing off in the best clubs with the best girls and throwing money around to have a name
newguy: I got to the extent, I didnโt have to pay for any club in Ikeja axis and part of the big ones on the island
newguy: cos they knew me already
Adeolu Akinyemi: wow..
newguy: but the fact is this type of life was not always rosy, you get into police trouble often
newguy: and also when you get broke, itโs like you never made a dime before
Adeolu Akinyemi: Wow… Tell me, why do you think people fell for your lines? And which countries were you doing business with?
newguy: I started with UK
newguy: then we just buy cars on the internet and pay with checks that are definitely going to bounce after a couple of days
newguy: we usually over pay this unsuspecting people and then they send of the balance and there you have it free 4thousand pounds or 6thousand depending on what you can do newguy: when I bought my car I actually made about 17thousand pound s of 1person
Adeolu Akinyemi: Wow…I’ll prefer you don’t go into details… ( I don’t want this to be a guy man manual)
newguy: lol. anyway it was lucrative when ever it paid, but my conscience always pricked me for a while and then later your conscience dies after sometime, it becomes like your right
newguy: when you ask some boys why they do what they do, they give you different funny reasons
newguy: let me give you the most common lines
Adeolu Akinyemi: Ah… Iโll like to know those reasons.. .the mentality of a guy man
newguy: 1. They say these whites came to Africa and took our fore fathers as slave, so it pay back time… lol for which of your fathers
newguy: if they even came back now and said the are coming to take us for slave trade, a lot of people will beat the line to get in front… free Yankee visa
newguy: 2. another reason used to be, “the government is corrupt and does not create employment opportunities for us”
newguy: like we donโt have hands and legs to get something doing
Adeolu Akinyemi: Hmmm.. I’ve heard some of these before too
newguy: anyway, we gave several reasons just to clear our consciences
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm..
Adeolu Akinyemi: So now you are pulling out and want to do it all legit… How do you intend to do this?
newguy: apart from being a born again Christian now, after reading through your site which really did inspire me I know that there are other ways out there. For my self-worth also I have decided to use my mind in the right direction, and believe me it has not been easy so far
newguy: especially with friends never believing me or always laughing when I told them I quit the game
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmmm… yeah, you said you have like 40+ friends who look up to you in this “game”, how are they buying your new direction?
newguy: lol…. I have tried severally to say I am out, they just laugh and say I have found a new way in the game and donโt want to spill the beans
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm… they must really rate you high in this thing..
newguy: some think I am not alright, others say I have made some big money that I am still eating when its finished Iโll come back
newguy: yeah… I used to be very good at it, I could convince anyone that was difficult for them, and I even brought some of them into the game
Adeolu Akinyemi: Ah.. so how do you intend to help them out. Any tips you want to give to some who are in this who will read this article or to people who are just anticipating taking a plunge?
newguy: there are a lot of legit ways out there to make big money fast on the internet, but with work of course and if they are ready and willing to learn, I will show them
newguy: right now I am still attending seminars and even holding some on ways to make money on the internet legitimately, I am looking at building a business to reach out to the youths out there and let them know there are other ways
Adeolu Akinyemi: good stuff…sounds like our vision for our Antiscam network.
newguy: they have their minds bent on this being the only way to make money and unless they have a re-awakening, they will not leave what they are doing.
newguy: not even several visits to the police net can stop this.
Adeolu Akinyemi: so it’s not just repentance, it’s repentance with works to show a change of heart
Adeolu Akinyemi: re-awakening… I like that word
newguy: yeah, I really want to reach out the them out there and when I try now, cos there is no evidence presently to show that things can work this other way, they sometimes laugh at me
newguy: but they should give me a couple of months and see whatโs gonna happen
newguy: I have been able to use my mind more in this few weeks than any other time in my life
Adeolu Akinyemi: Interesting..
newguy: and I believe with God on my side and good mentoring from someone like you who was able to do in a few weeks what pastors have tried to do in years and couldn’t do
newguy: the sky will be my foot stool
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm…thank God.
Adeolu Akinyemi: Ok, so we have 2/3 of the issues covered… you have stopped this business and are changing your ways, you are also offering an opportunity to help people also change… only one thing is left now…
newguy: Yes, but I know they will want to see a difference b4 they will change and I am working towards that seriously
Adeolu Akinyemi: How do you intend to handle the people that once suffered from your intelligence?
Adeolu Akinyemi: Do you know any of them, and do you have any plan for them?
newguy: well I am still talking to one lady who actually made me to feel my conscience again after it died when I was really into the game
newguy: she actually got to find out that I had deceived her and collected money from her to the tune of about $18 to $25 thousand
newguy: she is a woman or should I say a human like no other
newguy: I actually call her my angel
Adeolu Akinyemi: hmm… what?
newguy: she forgave me and still kept in touch with me, after knowing that I had swindled her all these years
newguy: yeah she did and since she is the only one still in touch, I have made a resolve to pay her to the last dime, not in one day of course
Adeolu Akinyemi: ok, so you have your eyes on this as well…that’s good
Adeolu Akinyemi: You might want to get her to comment here later too… that’s by the way. So tell me what words of advice do you have for young Nigerians?
newguy: There are other legitimate ways to make far more than youโre making deceiving people, it is going to take some work, but it is do able and I can help you get there if you are truly changed
Adeolu Akinyemi: Out of curiosity though… you said you intended reading my entire website, that it has been very useful to you… can you say anything to people out there as well on your thoughts and ideas reading from here?
newguy: Your site is the best thing that has happened to my way of reasoning, I intend to read everything you have ever written, and I will advise every young Nigerian to read from this site like its a daily devotional, it will really change your life. Then to parents out there, b4 your teenagers join the reasoning of the boy on the street like I was, get them to read from www.deoluakinyemi.com it will give them insights of what they want to become and they will see boundless opportunities out there that can help them become something tomorrow
newguy: They should also watch out for my site, it will be coming out in a couple of weeks and I will be willing to guide them through on how to cash in big on legitimate offers out there
newguy: before go I also want to say, opportunities are out there, when you look for them you will see them, but it is not an opportunity if you let it pass you.
Adeolu Akinyemi: Word!
newguy: A very big thank you to you Deolu for agreeing to be a mentor and taking me as a friend. A lot of people would have pushed me off when they hear about my past. In future I will send some write ups for this site to help young Nigerians like myself have a change of heart, Thank you and may God continue to use you as a blessing to us all out there.
Adeolu Akinyemi: Amen. Will be willing to publicize your site when you are ready with it too. All the best, and be sure that Iโll be watching out for your success.
Stories like this touch my heart. This is a young man on the way to setting his records straight. We all make mistakes, only for some it’s graver than for others. Whatever mistakes you have made, you can keep ranting about them, or change. I look forward to hearing your testimony of a changed life or at least a better life. This is not all about me though… it’s about all of you who post comments here, together we are reshaping the future of Nigeria.

Well done sir!!! I strongly believe this is the beginning of a paradigm shift in Nigeria. Change starts with only one and the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Lets keep marching on!!!
What can be more fulfilling than having a feedback such as this? A revolutionalised life! This has even more weight than putting money in people’s pockets.
This is a challenge and succour to anyone of us that really wants to “do it right” and live responsibly.
Deolu, I salute you. I hope testimonies like this will spur you on – farther than you ever imagine. These are rewards you can never quantify.
What more can I say? Keep on the good works!

I am truly in awwwwww at what I have read.. I had no idea the extent of the criminal scam artist that he WAS yes I know him I know him well letโs say I am the 15-25 thousand.. Lady that still chats with him… I first want to say that God has never created a no body.. and lil boys donโt grow up to say ” I want to be a crook when I grow up”.. some are because that is all they have been taught others never given an opportunity and most lack parental love and guidance.. I was raised to love and trust to the point of being taken advantage of.. I how ever will not change that quality. no matter how many times someone feels the need to lie and cheated.. I am a forgiving woman, I feel if I show anger , hate , none forgiving attitude , that will only allow the scammer, cheater, liar to justify his/her actions.. If I show forgiveness, caring, understanding and the greatest love it may open a door for change, I love this man he has been a part of my life for a long time good and bad.. that is what true friendship is about.. we all are different and I thank god for that we all have a gift to give and a reason to learn.. none of us are above fault, if I donโt forgive how will I ever be forgiven … I am very proud of this man for turning his life over and becoming a MAN… and I pray that our Father will bless him beyond compare,, extend his boundaries and protect him from misfortune pain and evil.. In Jesus name I pray AMEN..
The greatest testimony we can have is not that of getting a new job or buying a new car, it’s the testimony of a changed life.
I believe this testimony will jolt so many other guys out there into the thinking that ” You can win by righteousness” so that we will all build a formidable opposition against corruption.
What a testimony..this young man is a close friend..I am glad my friend has found a new beginning,I have bn skeptical since he backed off from runs but now i can say its for real,Its really amazing..I was his main contact in the UK and i will tell u that, all u read about in this testimony went down for real,as i was part of it all,he has held nothing back..After seeing what my friend has done,i find myself on unfamiliar grounds, for the first time in my life am “Speechless”..
Well, all i can say is that,If u and i ,can change..I think everybody can change and we can all work together in rebuilding a “Nation”..
I just want to say a big thank you to you deolu for the oppurtunity you have given to my brother. Thank you very much
@new guy
Love your new way of life. Poverty and inferiority complex make guys believe they need to make money whichever way just to keep up. But believe me a Lizard will always be a Lizard even if he has enough dollars to pay for lunch in Sheraton, the real gist is your self worth. Self development is key and that’s why every yahoo boy cant manage success ” when you’re broke, it’s like you never made it”
@Deolu,
This testimony is breath taking and that accounts for my first comment ever, though I visit your site daily. Keep up the good work
@Debra
Yours is an outstanding character that sees beyond being taking advantage of, one would have expected you to be bitter but you’re more still intrested in new guy being a better person. Guess there’s a lot to learn from your spirit.
Truuullly!!!?A guy backing out of runs???Willingly???Well, I’ll be damned oops sorry blessed. There’s serious hope for us all afterall.I’ll be glad if the guy can get in touch with me at my email ad.I’m actually a gradruate from the University of Calabar as well so I’m interested in knowing what my alumni is up to.And I need him to give me information on the Sapphire Flash stuff since I’m into that as well.Kudos to the guy and may his change be permanent.
Hello Deolu.
I just wanna say a big thank you for giving this guy an opportunity to confess his wrongs on the biggest info media in the world right now(the internet).
For this guy. I’m very happy and excited for his life right now. As a matter of fact i kind of have an idea of who this guy is. Cos, he called me up on skype this morning to read his article with deolu.
Let me say that i met with this guy for the first time in my life last 2 weeks. He sent me an email after having seen my personal website on the net. He sent an email to me and later called me on phone to meet with me. We arranged and met somewhere.
He told me how he came across my site and was surprised that a young nigerian was actually doing stuffs like this. He told me how he used to do the wrong stuffs online ( what he called guyman) though i never wanted to know more about that. Cos i just don’t care to know stuffs like that .
I’m surprised with what i’m reading right now. I just never knew the extent to what he could have done. Though i had wanted to meet with him again . As a matter of fact he became one of my subject of prayer. Cos i wanted an opportunity to also change him.
Right now , i can actually tell he is headed for the right path. He usually charts me up thru skype. Infact i can wholehearted now say of a truth that he is a changed man. going by his confessions here which i was not aware of him. Right now he is currently promoting the sapphire flash club thing from First Inland bank, and he told me online of his plan for reaching youths. Infact like he told me also online that he is planning a seminar for youths in lagos. Trying to get across to over 200 youths.
Now let me also tell u something men. When God forgives, He forgets. You got to put those past life behind you ok. Most importantly you must learn to dissociate your self from those your formal guys. Don’t hang around them for too long. Say hi if u see any of them. You will need to be a lot more stronger with the word of God to actually begin to hang around them. So, for now. i will tell you what Apostle paul told the Church in Acts Chapter 20 Vs 32 ” Brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Let the word of God build you up. It sure definitely will deliver to you your inheritance. It already has your name labelled on it.
Wow! This is such a touching story. It moved me seriously. Interesting that when I was reading this, I was chatting with a 16 year old who’s a webmaster with really tall dreams. After reading, I told him about the post and he opened up to me that he was also into this at a time. I’m sure he was about 14 at the time but he told me sincerely that he’s dropped that.
It’s alarming the rate at which youngsters are lured into internet scamming. And most if not all of them are really intelligent folks.
But with testimonies like this, we hope and pray that scamming and illegit transactions would stop entirely.
One other thing, I think it’ll be a nice one on our parts to direct our friends to helpful site like deoluakinyemi.com. It’s amazing how much of trash we pass around in mails and as links that won’t do the recipients any good. Give this as a gift to that person you care about.
A friend ,a brother and a man with a good heart ,those are all of the characters i know.I am estatic about the change and thankful to God for answered prayers .We are marching onto greater and higher heights.Deolu thank you for being a good listener and running an open door policy, beleive it or not it made this happen
i respect people who can look at their past in the eye and say goodbye and goodnight. i rejoice with this guy i now call a friend that has found the way back home were he trully belongs.
i will just like to add that people should beware of greed and not be in a hurry to suceed in life. the Yorubas say that “he that looks for sudden breakthrough is looking for sudden disaster”
i believe a word is enough for the wise
this is a life touching testimony. To God be the Glory
incredible. thnx 2 pst Deolu 4 wat u ar doin. Changing a man is one of the greatest assignment i consider to be embarkd upon. it involves changing the pattern of thinkin, line of thought and consequently decisions and actions. So, if someone is committed to just doing that alone, it’s really commendable. New guy, i consider this a life message. And every man has got at least one 2 share. Thnks 4 sharin urs. i foresee it changing destinies. please keep sharing it. The greatest thing about you is that you just became a christian in few months or so and you ar talking about restitution. It’s a big challenge to me cos even i that had been born again 4 years consider it really difficult. though, i wasn’t that bad and never a guy man but i wish to do some restitutions but do not have the resources. Your testimony is setting me on my toes to do it as soon as i have the cash. thanks for your life message. i look forward to meeting you some day. I pray the grace of Christ to be sufficient for you in this new found faith. It is well with your soul.
Hi just read this article and truth is i know him, met him a couple of months back when i came to school in lagos went to skool with his sister and he was my boy friend, when i found out what he was into i tried to get him to change said he could go legit and truth is i was part of the legit busniess but we fell out and its nice to know he s trully changed i pray God helps him on his new path.and so he knows i dont hate him and wish only the best for him.
@ New guy
Go and sin no more. Your sins have been forgiven and you have a brighter future ahead of you. God is going to take you to a place you would never imagine you would get to. Make sure you let go of the past cuz some thoughts might still want to hunt you. But God has personally chosen you and called you to himself. You are blessed and highly favoured, and you would keep moving from glory to glory. You would prosper and excel in all you lay your hands on.
I am really happy for you because you are special. You did not die doing such deeds but God spared your life.
Do you know that there is joy in heaven over you. Because you have chosen to repent. I am indeed happy for you. God bless you. keep building yourself in the word of God. Meditate on it.
Wish you all the best and you are in the right place.I am just too happy for you.
You will succeed and you are a success at very count.
@ Deolu
Only God can reward you for what you are doing. You are indeed touching peoples lives all around the world through this medium. It’s well with you and all that concerns you.God bless you and your family and all that concerns you. Success is yours and you should be prosperous in all you lay your hands on.
This is really a very nice thing happening and it has really lifted my spirit. I am feeling very happy at this story.
God bless you all.
Whatelse can be said. There is no greater testimony than one of a changed life. If God could send his only son down for this purpose, then what could be greater than this?
Newguy,
I believe God will use you greatly in rescuing others from the mess. God is the master planner and he allowed you get deeply involved so that when he pulls you out many would come out with you. That is purpose. Your watch word now should be CONSISTENCY. This will be your winning card. Whatever you keep at you will succeed at. His grace is sufficient for you.
Deolu,
A leader God has made you; a leader you will always be. Keep expressing the dreams on the inside of you. You are not there yet. You have only just begun. By the time God is through with you, they will say of you, can this mysterious man really have come from Nigeria!!!
God bless.

love you
ADEOULU
can only salut you, and be thankful if you mange to help even only one man to be strong enough to change the life from scanning to righteous and legal way of commiting bussines…..
your(meaning Nigerians, and i dont want to disrespect noone, but its a fact) reputation allover the world is amongst the worst ones….it’s been hardly a week passing that i wouldnt receive some kind of funny letters of different sorts of attepmts to “do bussines” with me comming from Nigeria(even thou i’m comming from a very poor country)
and honestly, because i know that Nigerians are fine and proud people(and lovable), i really hope that all those poor guys will find some better ways to make their life decent, and fullfiled in creative ways….although i know that isnt easy when you’re fighting for a bare survival…and when you’re in the game it does get toxicating, and very hard to give up…

LOVE&LIGHT
I would really love to know who this guy is, cos I need him to help me educate some guys who are neck deep into this scam stuff.
Waoh,
This is a great testimony. I got a call from an old friend who said she need a job. she had hunted for a while without success. She needed help. The first thing that came to my mind was deoluakinyemi.com. She was pleased to become part of this. There will thousands of people, maybe millions who will be +vley influenced by the blog. You’ll probably not hear their testimonial openely. As this continues to happen, a ripple effect will be created and a national revival can take place. Let’s keep the fire burning.
This is a very inspirational and moving article; it shows how a leap of faith can change everything, it shows how a peep into one’s self can turn life around forever, it shows the work of God through man. Deolu I am happy that you are impacting on the lives of many; we are all passionate for a changed Nigeria and it starts with changing our individual selves, changing our mindset, rethinking and reprioritising…We will get there by the grace of the Almighty.
Hmmmmmm, Mr ‘Deolu you don come again. The woman that this guy swindled was meant to be an American, how come she manages to find this site and respond ASAP with “yoruba” English. Then all of a sudden the ex-girlfriend discovers the site and leaves a testimony? Hmmmm, i wonder o. How did these people hear about this “phantom” interview all of a sudden?
You seem to have interviews with a lot of Anonymous people who all seem to be interested in your company?
I will advise everyone to tread with caution and read between the lines- Nuff said.
@ Andrew,
In case you are interested in knowing… the guy actually sent this post to all his friends and family as soon as I published it, as a way of saying I have made my decision to stop…and made it difficult for myself to go back.
I don’t know what you are into… but change takes time, and some of us are very patient with geniuses like you ๐ Keep reading though, maybe I’ll grant you an interview some day.
Nuff will never be said ๐
The Testimony of a Changed Life!
What a great story. I’m really touched by this story but I’m happy for this converted ”guy man”.
Making money in a dignified way makes one happy. And the beauty of this is found in doing something others considered as moral and worthwhile.
There is no joy in scamming even if the scammer is making it big, because one cannot be happy only by one’s bank account but by peace of mind and one’s core values.
So, I’m making a call to the people who still thinks that they cannot achieve anything worthwhile unless they defraud their fellow or engage in some other immoral act to desist from it as there are thousands of ways by which they can make money legitimately. It just a matter of finding useful infomation on how to go about it and that is the essence of this website.
Thanks Deolu,
Testimony like this really worth to be posted. I am seeing your website for the first time. I have never posted comments on websites, I am doing this for the first time and for the very best reason that worths it.
I will like to comment here that I had been in this kind of game “newguy” was. In fact, mine was not but the same to his. But all the while I was doing it…………I have always wanted to stop. The question of whats gonna happen keeps coming thru my mind.
I am scared of poverty. I havent found a way of making it until i moved to UK.
I presently reside in UK and I am finding a new life. I hope I will find one soon. I am into Forex Trading. I am still learning and wont stop. I wouldnt mind any trading tested startegies you might have. I wil welcome it.
I beleive you get to your destination fast with people of the same mind.
Thanks so much, this page is becoming my homepage from today.
I read most articles published on here carefully and it was real fantastic and something most we “guy men” should read about.
I also have made alot and i am willing to make it legitimate if i can be shown the way.
Thanks
Wow!
The guy is sure on the right path now. I pray he doesn’t slip or go back to his vomit.
Thanks again Deolu for bringing things like this and people like this into limelight.
@ Andrew .
Its been a while since ive been to this site to do some reading.. and Adeolu is correct when he said that this man let all know of his change to make it hard for him to go back to his evil ways.. if u read his testimony correct u would have seen he does state that he is still in contact with me..and those that love him and support him.. You have the right to your opinion… seems to me u are a doubting Thomas.. i how ever will always believe without having to see.. i will never put a stone infront of my brother for him to stumble upon nor beat him down with with my tongue.. We all make mistakes in life not one of us come close to being perfect, its knowing those faults learning from them and becoming a better soul in the end.. life throws us challenges and its how u handle those challenges that make u a man or woman not your age or shoe size.. I am very proud of this man at the way he has turned his life around for the better, how he has learned from his challenges and i will forever support him.. It took great strength to come out and clean up his life knowing he would have other pass judgement, but please keep in mind u also will be judged on the way u judge..lift a soul up dont tear it down.. wink.. have a very blessed day..
@ my mystery man..
I love u and am very proud of u keep up the great work .. may more learn from u .. kisses.
I was also in is shoes, although i didn’t get to break so many hearts before i realised that what i got into is not what i should be doing, my flexible conscience couldn’t make me go on because my first victim back then was a sick woman. because of what i did, she lost her marriage because it was her husband that paid the debt and once he did that he threw her out and she now lives on a government facility somewhere in Ohio. I lost her contact and i only got to know that things went so bad for her when i got i got her email. She did forgive me but i still pray day and nite that the lord will give me the strenght to be able to repay her, even if i can’t undo the situation she’s got into because i have not been able to forgive myself. I am very glad i did realise it before i went too far.
I am really happy for him, alot of my friends still find it hard to believe that i am out of it, that i am up to something else is the only notion on there minds, i even have a friend that things i am wasting away trying to do things right, he believes i have too much a potential to excel in this line than he does and he’s always bitter that i am out of the game. He always tells me that i have good formatting skills i.e i right good formats and i can always get sure Maga’s with the skills i have got, he’s always flaunting the proceeds from his escapdes atleast he’s got two cars, One camry and and Audi A4, and He just bought a new Maxima for is young brother but not even his parents know what he does cos the cars never get home.
He believes i am wasting away under the Umbrella where i make calls (Business Centre) and everytime i tell him ottherwise he always laughs it away. He is the only one that knows that i got out of it and everytime i preach a change of heart to him, its like am crazy. I don’t see him often cos he stays so far away from me and i don’t even know where he his now. But i am always praying he gets outof it. I stay under my Umbrella, make my peanuts that is not even enough for bigger investment but i am content with what i have little be it or more.

I have so much to say! I too am a woman who was worked over by a Y! boy for a considerable amount. And I knew it from almost the start. But God just kept tellin to pray and love this man. Within 4 months, the Holy Spirit had worked within him and he confessed all to me and has also left that kind of life that destroys and devours the soul. I know he has gone legit, because life is very difficult for his right now and it shows. He did find a legit job – his first one since 1999. I still help him with some expenses. I love him with all my heart and have the utmost respect and admiration for him. It takes a real man to come out and admit what he has done and to repent – turn away from it. As another poster here says, he has also left the other yahoo boys behind and is clinging to his church family and making new friends. We will be married this fall. For the record, long ago I had a past that was shameful as well…differently, but still shameful. I know personally the power of the conviction of the Holy Spirit and that God can sustain a person in moving into a legit and real life. Easy? No. Worthwhile? definately! If the original poster would forward his email I would like to introduce him to my intended – he is in need of encouragement and support…the more support we can all give each other, the more will realize the change can be made and that deceiving and thieving does not have to be a way of life anymore.
