My dear readers,
Yesterday, a friend and sister called me with news that warmed my heart. Good news from a far country is like cold water to a thirsty soul, and her call was both refreshing and instructive.
She had just received international recognition for her contributions, the highest award among a select few recipients. I had congratulated her on social media, but what I didn’t expect was the call that followed.
She called to thank me, to tell me that the award was not just hers, but ours. She credited me with making a significant impact in her life through my training in A2W (Avenues to Wealth) and my push for her to do things she didn’t believe she was capable of. She referred to me as a father figure in personal development and thanked me for the many training sessions, business motivations, and support that I had provided. She told me that Avenues to Wealth was not just about the money but about growth and development – a true hub for personal growth and development.
Her call confirmed some things I had been thinking about and reminded me of the importance of paying attention to what people thank you for. It holds the key to our natural talents and gifts. Where we generate the most fulfillment for others is indicative of our gifting and natural talents. To achieve greatness, we must keep these natural talents in focus and use them to make a difference in the world.
So my dear readers, let us pay careful attention to what people thank us for and use these moments to discover our true potential, for it is through these moments that we can achieve greatness and make a difference in the world.
Yours truly,
Adeolu Akinyemi.
