I thought long and hard about the topic of this post. What can I title it that will make it capture the urgency of the now, and at the same time retain the timeless signature I want every article I write to bear? It suddenly struck me, that the best way to put it, is as I have, “Don’t miss this!”
What is this that you shouldn’t miss? Two things, one, don’t miss an awesome event taking place this weekend – The Avenues to Wealth Award Ceremony and family night of fun and excitement. This event is marking the second year anniversary of an exciting company called Holidays and Cash, now rebranding as Avenues to Wealth. In this event, we’ll be entertained and informed, it’s infotainment at it’s peak. There will be music, comedy, dance and enlightenment. The event is featuring one of the foremost icons and entrepreneurial brands in Nigeria – Prof Pat Utomi, Global wealth creation expert, Prof Dolf De Roos, Africa’s Ace comedian – Basket Mouth, many musical acts, dance competitions, raffle draws and so much fun. Interestingly I’m the host of this auspicious event. In order to ensure you don’t miss it, I’m willing to offer complimentary tickets to any 20 people who help me answer this short survey.
1. What 3 things, would I do on www.deoluakinyemi.com to make you like the site more and invite more of your friends?
2. What frequency of writing would you prefer to see here? Daily, 3ce weekly, weekly or fortnightly?
3. What category of topics will you like to see more of?
As soon as you have taken this survey, please call Maiye on 0807 269 0087 and ask how you can get your sponsored tickets. Trust me, it’s not an event you want to miss. It’s 4pm prompt, Yard 158, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos. It’s a 6500 seater, fun packed, life transforming event, and refreshments are served. Don’t miss this!
Another thing I don’t want you to miss, is an opportunity I have been a bit diligent in bringing to your notice from time to time. Like Jesus, said, paraphrase mine, “what shall we do to the people of this generation, we drummed they didn’t sing, we sang they didn’t dance. John the baptist came not eating and not drinking, they said he had a demon, the son of man came, drinking and eating, and they called him a winebibber and a friend of sinners.” In other words, it’s not what we do or say that counts, if a man is scripted or programmed to be lost, he’ll resist every attempt to be enlightened. Truth has a way of eluding all those who will only criticize it. Don’t miss this.
The opportunity provided by Avenues to Wealth is amazing! There is no other company that I know that brings such a diversity of people together, and empowers them with a life changing opportunity. The value the company adds is so tangible it can’t be brushed aside. Is it the e-book library worth $3,000? The discounts in over 250 local products? The business opportunity of becoming a distributor to 250 other companies? Free advertisement? Access to a cooperative that is currently averaging greater than 10% per quarter? Ridiculously cheap health packages in India? The amazing and Weat African Travel and Hospitality Awards winning travel portal? Or is it the prepackaged vacations at less than half the price? The product value as of today is crystal clear.
People love these products and are excited about the possibilities, but seem to have somehow formed an impression about the Network Marketing model. People have had their fingers burnt in different things masquerading as Network Marketing opportunities, and the mere mention of the concept turns some people off. Well, I don’t blame you, apathy is the starting trend in any life changing opportunity. Pay close attention to this though, and plug in, take it from me, you don’t want to miss this!
We are in the days where change happens, when we arrive at the tipping point, and and inundated by the tsunami of interests. It’s not strange to this industry alone, and if you have foresight, you shouldn’t wait until the coast is clear.
I remember that for years, the then bankers were known as and treated as criminals. They were either Shylocks, Jews or shady characters, the church was against borrowing for interest and there were laws against it.The bench they sat on in those days to transact business, was where the word bank was derived from. It took them many years to refine the model into commissions and charges for foreign exchange, appear squeaky clean, leave the getto, engage in politics and become king makers. Today, banking is prestigious. It’s called an evolution.
Same issues with Franchising, “In the early 1960’s franchising was a revolutionary new technology in business, and it was also met with resistance. Newspapers and magazines wrote what a ‘scam’ and rip-off franchising was. Stories of people who lost their life savings to some franchise were everywhere. There was a strong move to make franchising illegal. In fact, franchising actually came within 11 votes of being outlawed by Congress (Parliament) in the USA.
Today, this (then) so-called ‘scam’ is responsible for over 34 percent of all retail sales in North America. Franchises sell nearly 800 billion dollars worth of goods and services today. Every industry goes through an evolution similar to this. Chiropractors were considered quacks in the 1970’s, the Stock Market used to be considered shady and a form of gambling, and the first newspaper in British North America, The Public Occurrence (1690), was suppressed by the governor of Massachusetts. Now, we can’t do without these industries.”
Unknown to 95% of the world, there are a number of billionaires actively driving this industry. Names like Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, Richard Brandson, Jim Ron, Robert Kiyosaki… corporates like Citigroup’s Primerica, IBM and so much that goes on beneath the radar of the majority are active players in some interesting dimensions and proportions.
Change is certain, and the trend is that those who don’t understand today, will understand tomorrow. Don’t let it catch you unawares, plug in and participate. The only sin, is not participating. Don’t miss this!
