- I once heard there was a mystery to the folded napkin in Jesus’ tomb. That in Jewish culture, what it means is… “I’ll be back”. Jesus is coming back again people… don’t take it for granted! Are you being prepared for his coming? Do you have oil for lamp? Or do you have oil for anointing?
- “Didn’t we feel on fire as he conversed with us on the road, as he opened up the Scriptures for us?” Do we feel on fire when we hear God’s word? Is it tugging something within us? Are the words we here igniting us or putting us to sleep?
- Jesus disciples did not recognize him until he broke bread. As we break into the bread of his word, may we see him, and recognize him. May Jesus appear to us, as we behold him, we are transformed into his likeness.

There is a way to read the Word of God, if you don’t understand that the gate is Jesus, and that he’s the lense through which all scripture finds meaning, you will not understand it.
- The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to empower us with power from on high! We have limited this power to speaking in tongues. There is more to power, and power continues to evolve through the years to sort what is the need of the season. The first manifestation of power is tongues of fire! An amazing doze of believability. Power is available to witness, to disciple, to convince, to communicate clearly.
- Jesus reinforced the Kingdom message for 40 days after his resurrection. This kingdom must be very important to Jesus! Is it important to us? Do we understand the gospel of the kingdom? Or are we stuck with the gospel of salvation?
- The times and seaons for different agenda in the scriptures are totally God’s business. He determines the time. No need to be anxious about time, we are meant to do what he wants and instructs.
- Without the power of the Holy Spirit, you cannot be an effective witness.
- Peters first message at Pentecost shows that he truly now understood the Bible. He understood how to take it from any topic and link it all the way to Christ.
- How many people were saved during peters message? Answer: We can’t determine. 3,000 signed up, and committed themselves, but the true test of their faith would be discovered in 6months to 1yr.
