One of the ways to have a conversation with God is to ask Him questions. Questions to satisfy your curiosity, not questions to undermine or challenge His authority.
God invites us to ask, He promises us answers and that he will not answer us condescendingly. He loves to guide, help, and impart us with wisdom.
Sometimes it seems God is quiet because we have not asked.
Sometimes we have not asked because the last instructions we heard or thought we heard put us in trouble, and somehow we are perplexed and wondering why God would lead us into situations that messed us up. We feel like assuming, like jumping to wrong conclusions, but it’s better to ask.
You see, nothing that happens to you is accidental. Even if all that came from what you went through was thorns, asking God could reveal the roses.
Sometimes we are in pain and those pains don’t feel good, but those pains require God’s comfort to heal from and that comfort is not for you alone, someone somewhere in the not-so-distant future will need some of the comforts you went through.
Inside that your mess lies a message. Your tests are hosting testimonies. You just need to peel the outer layers by having a sweet conversation with God.
Why God? Why did I just pass through this pain? Why this loss? Why this accident? Why these issues? Well, God will tell you directly, I am sure He is ministering to you already via this little post. Be bold to ask God why.
Yes He is Kabiyesi (The one to question His authority does not exist) but He is still Eleti gbaroye mi (The one with the ears big enough to listen to all by endless rants)
