“Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don’t like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this. – Luke 6:22-23.
I skipped like a lamb today! I do that regularly too. I’m sorry if the truth is uncomfortable, but Jesus commands we share it.
- Jesus is my Lord. I can’t give him percentage. He owns 100%. I simply ask Him for instructions on how to spend everything. This is what Lordship means. Jesus asked, why do you call me Lord, Lord and not do what I command?
- One of the most significant signs of the end time is wholesale deception. There will be signs, there will be wonders, but rather than Jesus being enough for people, he will become a means to many ends. Many god’s will be parading in Church as The One! There is only one anointed. He is Jesus Christ! We are all anointed equally be carrying his life inside us. Anyone who claims and exalted posture on Christ is saying something.
- Daily I yearn for more of Christ Jesus! I yearn to want nothing but Christ. To be satisfied with knowing Him, loving Him, participating in His suffering, being reproached for his name sake. I long to grow, to mature. I want Christ in me to come to full stature. This is my heart cry. I see every business and every engagement I’m involved with as a platform to share the gospel… the true Gospel. Not of things, but of Christ.
Feel free to hate me, but please love Jesus! Have value for him, don’t be carried away with materialism and the use of God! Remember in Luke 21. Jesus says that end will come as a SNARE on all who dwell on the earth. Are you dwelling on the earth? When Jesus said don’t lay treasures on the earth, it was not a suggestion!
