I’m currently in South Africa, packing my bag to return to Nigeria in the early hours of today. South Africa has been eye opening as well, there are lots of preparations going on already to ensure that Worldcup in 2010 moves the nation on a no return ticket forward journey. It’s also been a lot of rest for me and a lot of fun and play too.
One thing that however bothers my heart today, is how we as Nigerians are perceived all over the world. We are seen as drug barons and fraudsters in most nations of the world. Why? Because a few bad people destroy our reputation and the majority of us that do not practice any of these things just keep quiet. Our silence is empowering those who destroy us, their little acts of fraudulence is stealing us of many opportunities. Were we ever to achieve the Nigeria of our dreams, we’ll start from a vow of never keeping silent and watching our name dragged in the mud by faceless scallywags.
Haven seen and heard firsthand, the impressions different nationals have about us, the matter became sour today and comparable to farting in one’s mouth and adding salt to it. You can’t spit out the salt and you can’t swallow the fart. I got a list of names today from Clubfreedom and RT indicating a list of people that were paid for with fake credit cards, and another of some people who clubfreedom has sufficient reasons to believe have been stealing wallets from people and selling. Some of these people are thieves but some are innocent people who have done business with the wrong people and will help assist in fishing them out.
Please find their names and what they are accused of doing here… if you know any of them, pls send the details to CF and RT helpdesk with the subject, “Scam or Not”. you can also reach RT or CF directly on helpdesk to clear your name. Police and Legal support is being obtained as I hear to fix these people for good, some of their employers are also being involved.
… I paused this article to post till today, in order not to disrupt CF and RT’s investigations.
