Let us travel together on a trip of imagination. Let’s imagine way back when the world was created, let’s imagine the first human being ever created. For the sake of this imagination, let’s assume that man was made in the morning. What realities do you think will hit him/her as the day progresses?

I know we might all have different answers, but I’m certain we will agree on this one point, around noon, man will get hungry, and would crave for something to fill his stomach. He might start by experimenting with lovely looking fruits – Apples, berries, oranges e.t.c. Have you ever seen a craving that goes unsatisfied? Do you know anything that human beings craved that they have not created? Authoritative books about the story of creation and even archaeological evidence show that the eaten came before the eater and the dwelling before the dweller. Grass came before the goat, water before the fish and the skies before the birds. Do you have a craving for anything? Be happy, because that is proof that it certainly exists.
Your craving for food is proof that a banquet exists! Your desire for liberty is a proof that freedom is possible! Your craving for leadership is proof you have the potentials, your desire for business is proof of your entrepreneurial capabilities. The craving is an indicator of possibilities!

What do you have a craving for? Wealth? Independence? A great relationship? A world class job? A house? It exists, and it exists particularly for you. Have you ever wondered why people don’t have the same cravings with you, have you ever wondered why some people are very comfortable with lifestyles that don’t appeal one bit to you? Don’t wonder too long, they don’t have the appetite because the banquet does not exist for them. Don’t believe people who tell you it is not possible because they have no appetite for it. Go for what you have a craving for. I like the way sprite says it, “Obey your thirst!”

Think about it, man had a desire to fly and he created the aircraft. Man desired to be clothed and there were clothes. Man has created everything he craved for, till date. Impossible is a word found only in the vocabulary of fools. The Chinese say that the man who says he can’t be done should move out of the way of the man already doing it. We all have different finger prints and retina scans. We are all unique in our own different ways, what you have a craving for is another distinguishing factor. That great feeling you have when you hear a good speech, that feeling you have when you watch a good program, that feeling you have when you see solid cars and well furnished houses is a craving. You have what it takes to satisfy it.

I heard about a man, who abhorred going to the market when he was young, he hated the markets and craved that others would go to market on his behalf. He has not been to a market for the past 25yrs and has had no need to be! I have a cousin who loves tastefully furnished houses, in fact he drives around just sight seeing. Just a few weeks ago, he invited me to come and see the appartment he wants to move into in April – I have not seen such good taste in ages! I have another friend that has a craving for solid cars… he hasn’t gotten quite the one he wants yet, but I know that it is a matter of time.

Life is a lot like airtravel. The ticket that brings you onboard takes care of your feeding, entertainment and other needs until you depart. You were packaged ready with all the things you will need to live a successful life here on earth. Not only a successful life, a significant life. When you cried as a baby, was not when your mum started manufacturing milk. Your craving is an indication that it is available.

It’s available… your dreams, your desires, your vision is available. Look somebody in the eye today and tell him/her, it’s available!

This is soul lifting and inspiring. It reminds me of a quote I came across once “The mind of a man is the greatest of all weapons. Whatsoever a man can conceive and believe, that he can achieve”.

Deolu, I really appreciate your contributions to this generation. Your articles have been apt, timely and so inspiring. Nothing go happen to the hand wey u dey use write and the the brain wey dey manufacture all this things (amen).

@ Thanks all… I appreciate that someone finds it useful

@ Angela… what motivated this? –is available
It’s something I discovered a long time ago, I just remembered it again yesterday because I was actually encouraging someone in that line. We crave for different things, and nature creates no hunger it is unwilling to satisfy. I really wish I had a more dramatic motivation ๐Ÿ™‚

    Deolu, real nice one.

It reminds me of another saying: “the world is mine”.
Everyone should believe that everything in the world is made for him/her and that you can get it… but only if you crave for it.

I wonder how the word “impossible” was invented. I think I agree with you, it shouldn’t exist.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

    nice one Deolu
it is important to also bridge the gap btw cravings and “manifestations”. those that desire it stand d chance of having it but those that work it out definitely stand a greater chance of havin it.afterall if wishes were horses ….beggars would go beyond riding to owning race courses! I remember those days wit u in FGC.
