What role are you playing?

“The Feast of Unleavened Bread, also called Passover, drew near. The high priests and religion scholars were looking for a way to do away with Jesus but, fearful of the people, they were also looking for a way to cover their tracks” – Luke 22:1-2

“Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people.” – Luke 22:1-2

There were few roles in the drama in the days of Jesus! Those roles are still in force today! The question is, where are you in this drama.

 
1. The High Priests and religion scholars were looking for how to kill Jesus! They still are! The High Priests and religion scholars today are Pastors, Bishops, General Overseers and General Superintendents who have good stake in the people and their pockets before the revolutionary message of Christ. Please note – the first time Jesus ever spoke in the synagogue, they wanted to kill him, the last time, they wanted to kill him. The dimension that always wants to shut down the true gospel is positioned closest to the gospel. It’s not the world as we see it, it’s in the very church. Those who prosper from the current rape and oppression of others would always plan to kill Jesus! If some of the things I have been writing have been offensive to you for example, it’s because you are more used to your Pastor than Jesus. I plead with you, read your Bible, appear before God and throw away those glasses that color truth. Question: Are you one of these high priests and religion scholars?

 
2. The People are the ones the high priests and scholars fear! The fear of the people, is the motivation for killing Jesus privately. The people are the ones who heap to themselves teachers to satisfy their itching ears. The people are those who also favor the message of Christ and make it difficult for the high priests to strike out like they would love to. Many a scholar would say a lot more than they would offline than online, just because of the fear of the people. The people’s reactions keeps their Bishops in check! What type of people have we become? Are we the type of people that create fear in the minds of false teachers or are we the people who bend the knee and shout “We are loyal”.

A people deserve the type of leadership they get, but if Christ is the head and leader of the true church, then Christ’s people must come out from among them and be separate. Is a man your head or is Christ truly your head? We cannot unite the church by preaching let’s come together, the only thing that brings us together is total submission to the headship of Christ. It’s when we have Christ as our head, that our body is truly united. We cannot submit totally to Christ’s headship until we are personally rid of our self heads and self helps. What you want to get is your limitation to total surrender to what God wants to get! What type of people are you?

 
3. Jesus! Yes you also have Jesus in this drama and all the generations of those who represent him. From Genesis to revelation, the gospel of Christ and the proclamation of God’s order has never been in alignment with the crowd! Crowds are always known to murder the true prophets, false prophets always outnumber true messengers. The statistics of those who speak truth and represent God, show that the way is truly narrow and few find it. Not all who find it, walk in it. Those who represent Christ are never popular to the larger community. They are always the hate target of the popular false gospel. From the days of the law, right up to the prophets right up to Christ and after, the message of the cross is always a radical departure from the desires and demands of the flesh. Jesus did not come to pamper your flesh and make you better, he came to do away with your already condemned life and give you an alternative through himself. Your muscle and flesh will never succeed, only Christ in you is success!

 
4. God! Yes, God is always there, always in all the dramas. Either manifesting through His sons, or there observing the drama. God is the one who is to be feared, but even those who claim to be scholars at God don’t fear Him! Here are people about to take down God’s son! About to terminate what they perceive is from above, and all they fear is the people! Their messages are carefully crafted to keep the people together. It doesn’t matter if the highest contributor is living a double life, it’s better that he’s at least coming to church! God is watching, do you fear Him?

Are you of the people who agree with this but can’t like or share it? Are you a hypocrite? Or are you a bat – neither here nor there? Repent my friends, the kingdom of God is at hand, and fierce judgement is coming upon this generation! Many who are not born have been decreed dead before their birth. Repent!
