A study of billionaires shows that over 75% of billionaires have been completely bankrupt at one point of their lives. Not marginally, completely! Most of the people the world recognizes as role models and icons today, have had really bad times. Success is not never falling down, it’s never staying down.
As I take a recap of this year, from my experience and from the lives of those around me, I think there is a lot to learn. Here are a few scenarios that I have seen.
1. I have seen people get a financial windfall and then get into more debt than they have ever been in in their lives.
2. I’ve seen people rise from the lowest of lows, and become the beacon of hope for their families.
3. I have also seen people change 180degrees from bad to good, I’ve seen people abandon a way of life and embrace a new one without as much prospects.
