Once upon a time a rich man took his son to the village with a plan to help him balance his perspectives about life. Since he grew up in wealthy environments; so it made sense to taste a little poverty.
The son spent a month in the village, and had a good time. His father asked for what he had learnt about poverty, and the boy answered!
“We have one dog, they had four”
“We have a pool, they had rivers”
“We light lanterns at night, they use stars”
“We buy food, they grow what they eat”
“We have fences for protection, they are surrounded by friends”
“We have lots of books I have never read, they have a bible we read every day”
Thanks Dad, for helping me see how poor we really are!
