Not Yet Uhuru

It has been dark on this site for almost 6 days now, and as you can see, we are not there yet. I decided to use this theme currently, so that at least we can get to read from one another and see one another. It’s a long story I will get to share soon enough. But believe me, I have been working frantically to ensure that this site comes back to live and serves it’s purpose in providing helpful information to people and organizations.I have received many calls, many emails and many text messages, from many avid readers, trying to find out exactly what went wrong, and how they could help. I’m using this medium say a big thank you to all of you. And welcome back too.

Don’t worry about this current look, it’s only for a while. It’s just the temptation of communicating with you that is so high. A lot has happened over the last 6 days, I hope I’ll be able to fill you in, not too many days. A lot of hot burning issues like

1. An investment opportunity that does an alarming 2000% returns in about one month!
2. A mouth watering legitimate stock deal that I wanted to involve as many as wanted to be a part of from this site that closed this morning.

3. A Job opportunity that pays entry level people 100k/week and above.

4. Lessons learnt from the electoral process.

5. My personal travails since the site went down

6. The forex trading training scheduled for 28th April and many other motivational and inspirational articles that have jammed my head in those days.

I’m saying a big thank you again, and am confident that the house of the king that gets burnt, only eventually adds beauty to it.

  5. Chidi Okocha responds:

I’m out of the shores on training and can’t help checking every 1hr if his site was back. Thank God

  6. Tayo responds:

It’s great to see the site back up (I must have checked a hundred times), though I must admit I initially cringed on seeing the new look. A ball cannot bounce high if it does not fall. The king’s house shall bounce higher … we’re waiting for the bounce.

  7. Tioluwalase responds:

Hello Deolu, I really dont envy you at this time. I can imagine (or cant imagine) what psychology trauma you have gone thro this past days. Its just like loosing your phone while realising there is no help in site. It was a pity that my two favorites sites went down at the same time. I am sure every thing will be sorted out. I check virtually every hour too. Especially since I can browse on my phone. I can just pop up at 3,00am and quickly check my google reader!

We await the mouth watering invites!

  8. Tioluwalase responds:

It so good to be back. Unfortunately I had earlier typed a long story only for it to be lost after trying to submit( page cannot be displayed). I have lost the zeal to type a long one for fear of lossing the data.

  9. Kayode responds:

    Good to have you back.
Such problems only affords one a chance to even make things better than before.
    e go better.

  10. Tioluwalase responds:

Never knew the comments got registered!

  11. Segun Oyeniran responds:

    Hi Deolu,
It’s good to browse thru your site once again. I am happy that you were able to resolve the problem afterall. Keep up the good work. I am open to any assistance you may need at this trying period.

    All the best.

  12. wale responds:

…I also wondered what the problem could have been. Thank God and welldone Deolu for restoring the site in time…

    God strenghten you the more!

  13. Babatunji responds:

Infact! I just joined those that sent text messages to find out what happened to the site. I just decided to check again and alas! it went. For the first few days, I thought it was my internet access that had problems but after checking all parameters I realised the site was truly down. Glad you have brought it back running. Since you are working on making it better, I think there are too many links on this single page, is it possible to have many of these links archived and put in a drop-down menu design format?
Thank you for the efforts at restoring the site.

  14. kite responds:

Hi Hi, Nice to see you back up. I saw another format for the site yesterday which wasnt very interactive as in i couldn’t email posts out, so i wondered. Anyways, hope its all sorted out soon enough, so we dont miss anything, like the no 2 on your list of hot burning issues…

  15. Adeolu Akinyemi responds:

    @All,

Hey thanks all. I really appreciate all the comments, calls and text messages.

Yessoo, it was real psychological trauma :), at a point I believed strongly that maybe some of the articles I had in mind were not meant to be aired just yet. Thank God it’s back up. We were able to restore the old format and still working on some new changes to make things better.

During this lull, I discovered that once this site went down, it was difficult to reach me. In order to solve this, I will make my details available here for a few days so you can at least call or mail. I can be reached on 08037228919, 01- 7941602, deolu@deoluakinyemi.com and deoluakinyemi@gmail.com. I don’t expect that anything will go wrong, but just in case.

I have been able to buy a little time on the stock deal, it’s opened till Monday morning. If you are interested and can get between N200,000 and 1million before Monday morning, please call me directly so we can discuss how you can be a part of it. Please don’t call me about this after 12 noon on Monday the 23rd of April, 2007. Thanks

Thanks once again for the love and support.

  16. dayo responds:

  19. Lolo responds:

You are welcome back, online and real time. As regards the stock deal, are you going to do a post on it or we have to call you as mentioned.
    Cheers!

  20. Adeolu Akinyemi responds:

    @ Lolo,

I prefer you call me oh… The post will have to be long, and it’s not for everybody… the offer is limited.

    @ Banji,

    No oh.. :)

    @ Tioluwalase

Sometimes the comments don’t show immediately, they go to the moderation panel, when the program is not sure if it is a frequent visitor or a new comer. There I get to approve comments made by newbies… so if it doesn’t show, relax, it will be up as soon as I get into the system.

It’s done like this so that no spammer/new commentator will come and post offensive “things” as comments without moderation. I have had over 19,000 spam messages in the last 4 months alone - these are comments coming from all over selling all sorts.

  21. Tosin responds:

The impact of not having this site on for some days now has really been gargantuan.

But then, it has led me to securing something I have always wanted to get. I will mention this later on but I must say it’s great to have the site back.

I have some enquiries to make concerning the fx training coming up.

  22. I. D. Asumah responds:

Good to have the blog up again. Welldone Deolu.
Since it’s likely that not everyone will make the monday morning deadline(hope i do), do you mind sharing any of the other items mentioned like items 1 and 3 as all attention seems to be focused on item 2.
    Cheers

  24. bola ogidan responds:
