ROI: Sefteg vs. Treasurelink

In the course of last week, I have gotten many calls asking me when I’ll post something on Sefteg so that they can make up their minds whether to invest or not to invest. While I personally do not pride myself as a top notch financial analyst, one thing I do is that I keep my nose very close to the ground and my ears, all over the place. I also rely on the readers on this site to provide the information that they have.

When I heard the returns that Sefteg was giving, I was perplexed! Well, not so badly though, I had heard of Risk Managers giving such returns as well, so it wasn’t too far fetched. They give 30% every month! What that means invariably is that in 4 months you already have your capital back. There is a little snag though, which I’ll try to elucidate on. For treasure link, it’s quite a simple model, you bring in your money for 12 weeks and they practically multiply it by 4 for you. 300% returns in 12 weeks, that’s truly a treasure link, but are they for real, for long, and who among them should rather win your money or your trust?

I’ll like to start by using a story I learnt not too long ago. It’s the story of the Elephant and the 6 blind men. This story has a lot of variations, but here is one that I love so much.
John Godfrey Saxe’s ( 1816-1887) version of the famous Indian legend,

It was six men of Indostan,
To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
That each by observation
Might satisfy his mind.

The First approach’d the Elephant,
And happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
At once began to bawl:
“God bless me! but the Elephant
Is very like a wall!”

The Second, feeling of the tusk,
Cried, -”Ho! what have we here
So very round and smooth and sharp?
To me ’tis mighty clear,
This wonder of an Elephant
Is very like a spear!”

The Third approach’d the animal,
And happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
Thus boldly up and spake:
“I see,” -quoth he- “the Elephant
Is very like a snake!”

The Fourth reached out an eager hand,
And felt about the knee:
“What most this wondrous beast is like
Is mighty plain,” -quoth he,-
“‘Tis clear enough the Elephant
Is very like a tree!”

The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear,
Said- “E’en the blindest man
Can tell what this resembles most;
Deny the fact who can,
This marvel of an Elephant
Is very like a fan!”

The Sixth no sooner had begun
About the beast to grope,
Then, seizing on the swinging tail
That fell within his scope,
“I see,” -quoth he,- “the Elephant
Is very like a rope!”

And so these men of Indostan
Disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!

MORAL,

So, oft in theologic wars
The disputants, I ween,
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean;
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen!

What should the blind men have done? They should have listened to each others perspectives, put it all together, and get a fuller picture of the elephant like the one above. We all look at things from different angles, I’m about to share mine, feel absolutely free to share yours as well. When we bring it all together, it gives a fuller picture.

SEFTEG

Plus: 1)Sefteg allows you to invest as small as N50,000 and promises you 15,000 per month (30%). If you are willing to delay your gratification and collect returns on a quarterly basis, they give you returns equal to 100% every quarter, and more if you don’t mind collecting after a longer period. 2) They seem to care about your next of kin, so they ask you to submit the passport and name, at least, if anything happens to you, someone can still claim the funds. 3) They pay you 5% for referring people to them (remember to mention my name oh :)) 4) There is an extra bonus for investing more than N300,000 with them, you get to earn divided after each year if the year was really good.

Minus: 1) They say they are into local and foreign shares and diamonds, that sounds a bit spooky. Which foreign shares guarantees you so much? Loads? 2) Their office looks like they haven’t started using the money, but that’s not a problem, few of these schemes have good looking offices. 3) I hear your capital expires after 2yrs. You first forget your money for 2yrs only never to get the actual capital back. This is also not so bad, it means your money returns 620% in 2yrs and not 720%. 4) Sounds too good to be true and not sustainable. Why not offer less? If they offered 15% won’t we still be interested? Why 30%? It looks to me like a hunt for the greedy. 5) I don’t know anybody who is doing it, or has recovered his/her money in full, if you have, pls speak up.
General Gist: Their office is at 10 Abibu Oki Street. Leventis Building Suite 05, Ground Floor Lagos Island. They can be reached at sefteg02@yahoo.com

My Personal View: If you have some money you won’t miss, you can try this. It sure won’t hurt to have 50k somewhere to fund your parents account, and if it stops to work or doesn’t you know you can afford to miss it.

TREASURELINK

Plus: 1) If all you have is 9,400 you can start, this seems the lowest as of today. 2) You don’t need to worry about your money for 1yr, it’s just 12weeks of sleepless nights ;) 3) It’s almost 300% returns in 12 weeks, the only thing that currently beats that is Canadian diamonds, and that’s MLM (i.e it comes with some effort). 4) If you can afford to loose N30,000, about 10 of you can combine together to make part with 100k+ each in 12weeks. 5) They are into the popular oil and gas biz.
Minus: 1) My first attempt at cracking these numbers made me feel they were into some kind of pyramid scheme - it’s rosy for the guys on top (the first to try it) and the base keeps getting wider, until it bursts. 2) Why aren’t they using the banks, I understand the problem of collateral at the beginning of every business, but what about now? 3) Looks like it is time bound, how long can this be sustained for. What will the objective of this be?

General Gist: Their office is at 29 Airport Road Lagos, their head office is in Ibadan. The number of slots, investment, returns are shown in order below.
7 9,400 30,000
15 19,000 70,000
21 26,200 100,000
31 38,200 150,000
41 50,200 200,000
63 76,600 310,000
127 153,400 630,000
255 307,000 1,270,000
511 617,200 2,550,000
1023 1,228,600 5,110,000
2047 2,457,000 10,230,000

My Personal View: If you must do this, do it with money you won’t miss, partner with a few friends, make up you mind not to get hooked, set a target and stop on target. These type of things if they work will increase your cash flow, but not wealth. Wealth takes discipline and consistency. That’s available at GFS :) (What do you think, I can sell what I believe in too now, abi?)

I hereby declare the floor open for the other “blind men” and of course ladies. Let’s pull our thoughts and research together, and lets make some money :)

  1. Felix responds:

I was already going to ask you about these 2day, cos i heard about them from a friend, as you say, if one is looking for cash flow, then risk what you can afford to lose… and for Wealth i will definetly go with our own GFS.
although i am yet to know the minimum deposit and if we get paid everymonth too.
as usual your are a wealth of knowledge or should i say a blessing to us all.

  2. Tayo responds:

For Sefteg, I personally know someone who has received 2 payments… meaning he has 2 more months to wait and he’ll be in profit. Like Deolu said, this should be done with money you won’t miss. I always say the higher the return, the higher the risk… and the advise is not to be greedy. If you must go for these high yield investments, transfer the monthly returns into more stable investments like Stocks, Real estate, Mutual funds or even keep it in the bank. If you keep reinvesting your profit into the same company, you’ll only have yourself to blame if something goes wrong.

  3. Chidi Okocha responds:

    Deolu,
This is clearly high risk and like you said, the watch word should be ‘invest what you can afford to lose’. If you make your money back, you can play with the excess. They’re getting bigger every 24hrs. One day, they’ll be unable to handle the pressure then …kabooooom…Be wise in your dealings and protect your self from the explosion.

  4. olaito responds:

All these investment opportunities sound like an abundance of rain but if we throw cautions away, we may eventually have ourselves to blame.

They came up now just because of the nature of our economy that has refused to be revived after several attempts.

But Deolu, like you said it is good to put the money there if it would not hurt and if at the end of three months your money is back, you can close your mind for eventualities.

    God will guide us right

  5. Kenny responds:

    Deolu,

Thank you. This is a very high risk investment. but you know everytin in life is about risk. if you have money you believe if you loose it it won’t pain you, why not try it.

  6. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

Hi, thanks once agian for your analysis. I wish to clarify an issue. Does it imply that I dont get anything from Sefteg until after 2 yrs. i dont seem to get that part. Pls any telephone number?

  7. Adeolu Akinyemi responds:

@ All thanks for you comments and valuable suggestions, I’ll say look before you leap too.

@Tioluwalase, 08034700757 and 08033537607, lanre and bimbo consecutively. What I understand is you keep getting interest every month for 2yrs. After 2yrs it all stops. You’ll need to reinvest another capital to start again.

  8. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

Thanks Deolu, meanwhile I saw some one that looked like you on Funmi Program ( NTA) could not really hear anything but I thought the person really looked likeyou, was it?

  9. korede responds:

    hi deolu
pls do you have any phone number or e-mail addy for Treasurelink?thanks

  10. Tope responds:

I believe this people are fake. What stocks will bring that kind of returns they are offering. Well, like Deolu said put the amount you won’t miss in case they disppear into thin air.

  11. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

    Treasure links- 08066787307, 08039400007, 08033889458

  12. Lolo responds:

What’s responsible for the current proliferation of these schemes at this point in time? Can somebody respond?

  13. Lolo responds:

Tioluwalase - These lines are not available. I have made several attempts at getting to speak with someone at the other side.
Is there any information available about individuals who’s been to their office?

  14. korede responds:

    hi Tioluwalase,
bin trying the treasurelinks number since yesterday and the only one that’s ringing is not answered.are you investing with them?how did you go about it?

  15. O'jaye responds:

    Hi Lolo,
These companies tend to operate on the private equity model obtainable in developed economy.
My fear at the moment is that they meant not be well organised, although they help to propel the market.
I have a feeling that what we are seeing lately have to do with some growth in Nigeria economy.
These company do thrive because they are less regulated. They tend to operate in secrecy. There is also lack of accountability and transparency on their part which make many people uncomfortable.I want to believe these companies look out 4 bargains e.g undervalued stocks, oil & gas import/export, shipping etc. In most cases return tend to come in short term.
If too many of these companies spring up and chasing similar deals and competing with each other this meant not be too healthy.
Another problem is that if this company have too much money, they might start overpaying and is just a matter of time they will run into problem i.e umana umana.
Presently this is season of growth for these companies.
Do invest wisely and fast, have at the back on your mind growth in biz like is followed by a crash then growth again. History tend to repeat itself. Can i hear u saying finance house of the early 90s.

  16. yeside Akpabio responds:

    hi,
all these investment schemes are all risky but according to Deolu put in money u know u won’t miss. i want to use this medium to market the canadian diamond traders and clubfreedom, these are mlm programmes and they are for real, Deolu also mentioned that of canadian diamonds, if u want more info on both programmes call XXXXXXXX.

  17. Abbey Ogunojobi responds:

All investment are risky no doubt, even personal business does not exclude one from this reality. However what i think comes to mind when one hears of all these investment opportunities, is beyond the normal risk factor. It is Geniuness. Are they into real legal business? Who are the people behind the whole thing? Are they registered with appropriate bodies? What does EFCC think of them?. These and many other similar questions will create more clarity on the subject matter, rather than waiting for a while to discover that they are a scam. Can some please answer my afore mentioned questions?.

  18. Babatunji responds:

I am finding this difficult to believe maybe because of my education, training and experience. I have been around for a while in terms of financial management experience but has yet to know a business model that make such returns. What business will these schemes be doing with the invested sums? There is that simple financial principle of matching tenor of funds with the gestation period of the business investment ie short term funds should only be put in investments that will quickly turn around profit. We should all watch out with these schemes please!!! Sounds like the finance house schemes of the early 1990s to me. The starters will make the returns so as to widen the net while the later entries will lose money.

  19. TheWinner responds:

    Hi All,
I have this much information on treasureline. I have been discussing with some of the key people there in the last 1 month and the latest information I have which may be of interest to all is that they have been discussing with the Security and Exchange Commision to get registered as Fund Managers. They have recorded some success along this line because they were listed amongst the companies to be registered by SEC in the 1st quater of 2007 as fund managers. You can check the BusinessDay newspaper of the 2nd of March. I figure that SEC will look into their legitimacy before getting them registered. However, anything is possible in Nigeria.

I plan to go into this investment in this operational week. The beauty of it is that with the return rate, you can afford to sustain the same level of investment after your first payment.

My advice is to invest only what you can afford to loose. The rewards here though far outweighs the risk. Your measure of the risk we should remember is partly a function of the information you have about the scheme and how releible that information is.

    Hope this helps.

    Shalom!

  20. Emma responds:

Life is all about taking risks…Like they say…No risks …No reward..

Sometimes…when we waste too much time, we lose the window of security…

Even if it was fraudulent, do you think they would not be greedy as well to allow it last for about 12 months before cutting people off.

My brothers and sisters..I have set my investment limit.
Come Monday morning…i will be off to Sefteg…

  21. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

Hi, I went to Zenith where Sefteg has an account and was told that one cannot pay into the account for now. What can this imply???????

  22. Lolo responds:

Latest information has it that TreasureLink is FAKE. I have not been able to reach any of the lines given by Tioluwalase. Investors, beware!

  23. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

    Hello Lolo,

U are supposed to believe what u desire. I have gotten thro to them on a number of occasion but until recently. For you to outrightly declare them as FAKe is not wise and not fair. They have recently applied into SEC as fund managers. U can copy the link below and check it out, no 18. I have benefitted once and will do over and over again.
    Cheers

    http://www.sec.gov.ng/pnoticesintendingoperators.htm

  24. TheWinner responds:

    Lolo,
What information do you have which made you to conclude that Tresureline Interlink is fake?

  25. Lolo responds:

    Hello Tioluwa,

I guessed my conclusion was rather hasty but it was based on the available information. You should have notify the house with the details of their dealings with SEC when you have it.

  26. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

Whether they register with SEC is not an issue until now, this is just an addition to their CV. I sent the SEC stuff when I got it. For your information I will give whenever I like.

  27. Banji responds:

To be frank the issues are serious most of them are tempting real tempting but very risky. Come to think of it are there no laws that can bind them incase of fraud? we see there representatives all around, but that is not enough. If they are real believe me it cant be for long.If you will try, try now they will want to encourage people and probably back out when they have peoples trust. Life it self is risky so i might try a few.

    Cheers

  28. Banjo oluwatosin responds:

    Hi All,

It is so sad that we all have either heard or experienced that individual and supposed cooperate bodies have used several mediums and platforms to defraud many of thier hard earned monies. Nonetheless, the fact remains that not all businesses and people will be involved. when i first heard about NOSPETCO, it was with mixed feeling, but since i joined,it has been smiles all the way. The Nigeria factor cannot be undermined, but the risk in joining any of this investment opportunities is equal to the risk we take in leaving our homes in the morning in search of our daily bread. Remember, not all who sleeps @ night will wake up in the morning and so when you do, just believe God still have plans for you. When you join believe that for as long as you are involve, nothing will happen. Just as u plan for 2moro even when you are not sure of the next 1 hour of your life. FAITH IS ALL YOU NEED!!!! Anyway, you can wait for me while i collect my 2.55Million in a few weeks time.

    Dapo Banjo.

  29. Tolulope Adeola responds:

Bros, i see it your point o,really tis too good to be true and enticing even to an investment analyst and a finance consultant, but what can one do in this kind of economy? You need another source of income apart from your monthly earnings called salary and you will not steal.
What i believe like you said is for one to put in a little amount you will not miss if lost and not to be greedy. I know one or two peopple that have gotten return on their investment and the gist is that interlink is registered with the SEC and SEFTEG is insured with an insurance coy ‘foreign’.If you can help verify these infoormation,it will help i guess.
    Thanks

  30. Chris responds:

    Hi all,

Tioluwalase, I felt very uneasy when I saw the website you submitted ( http://www.sec.gov.ng/pnoticesintendingoperators.htm ). It is too un-professional for a Nigerian parastatal and it appears to have been manually typed ( my dog could produce this page in it’s sleep - If I had one ).

If you visit Central Bank’s site ( http://www.cenbank.org/Supervision/otherlinks.asp ), the web address for SEC is “http://www.secngr.org” and it is under construction.

Is it possible that the link you submitted is a PHISHED SITE?

Don’t get me wrong; I am also looking to put my money to work, albeit, very cautiously.

My advise, “While it is good to look before you leap, try not to become a spectator”. If you can part with some free funds, and I mean PART WITH IT, go ahead, take the plunge.

Afterall, that that cannot kill me will only make me stronger.

  31. Adeolu Akinyemi responds:

@ All, here is fresh information I just got from a mail from a friend I haven’t seen in a long time.

    “Hi Deolu,
Tall time no see or hear from you. I guess i now know why.
Since i came in this morning i have been on this site and i have also asked myself, why havn’t anyone inform me about this? I was search for some answer through the yahoo search engine when i saw you site as one of the pages to check for solutions. You bet i did not wait for other sites to display before i clicked this.

    About SEFTEG Vs. Treasure Line/Link

I have a friend here in the office who invested in SEFTEG and was paid the intrest promised in the agreement and he has invested more. Seeing that the stuff looks real and with all i have read and heard from people i have also invested some little amount too.
My plans was to take excuse from the office and finilize all paper works concerning the investment in both SEFTEG and Treasure Line/link. Lucky for me i confided in a senior colleague on my mission. She quickly advised me accordingly, she said i could go ahead with the SEFTEG but for Treasure Line/Link i should not do it because there are some guys who invested in it and have not gotten either capital or intrest till today and it’s now the 16th week since they invested. That the company has been asking them to wait and uptil now (march 14th, 2007), they are still waiting. These are people well known to her.

I feel this information might be of immence benefit to the house.

    Keep the flag flying.

    Joshua”

I also recently spoke to some of the managers of SEFTEG, Amandi a neze oh.

  32. Ibrahim responds:

    Hello All,

Chris you should be carefull before condenming the work of others. Tioluwalase’s links is definately not a phis at least not the SEC home page he provided i.e http://www.sec.gov.ng is REAL.

What I did (and of course which anybody with internet connection can do) is just to use google to search for “Security & Exchange Commission” under CBN’s website.

To do this just type into google “Security & Exchange Commission” site:www.cenbank.org

It makes google to search for “Security & Echange Commission” only under CBN’s web site i.e http://www.cenbank.org

Or preferably just click on this link

The first link (with a date of 14 Mar 2007) on the google search result takes you to a CBN webpage. That page has a colmn on the rigth with the heading “Other Related Institutions”. SEC is number 18 on the list and the homepage is exactly the same as Tioluwalse’s. i.e http://www.sec.gov.ng

However, the SEC home page timed out, but so also did the Nigerian Stock Exchange Homepage (Number 20 on the same list). I dont think its anybody’s fault that these pages are not up.

I’m like you Chris, I want to invest in treasureline as well, but I’m also being careful, doesn’t mean I should bring down someone else’s research effort.

    @Deolu
Very good info from Joshua. I guess I have to hold a while before putting my money on the line
    .

  33. Ibrahim responds:

    Hello again,

The SEC homepage will load with this link http://www.sec.gov.ng/index.htm There is a column on the right side of the page with links to some other pages. The first link take you to “Current List of Market Operators” Following that link, I couldn’t locate Treasurelink on the list. So I went back to Tioluwalse’s link. The heading of link says “INTENDING CAPITAL MARKET OPERATORS……” Meaning that they are yer to be registered. The body goes furhter to say that “Members of the public who have objections to any of the applications are advised to forward same to the Commission……” Maybe those guys Josua mentioned above should consider this option.

  34. Adeola responds:

    Hi all,
Let me start by saying a good job well-done to Adeolu Akinyemi for his initiative to float this kind of forum.

I am currently in the UK studying and really interested in investing in some of this companies.

My Finance module thought me that the higher the risk the higher the return. So since someone has got his or her return within the stipulated time this implies that the investment is real and it is worth taking the risk.

Like Adeolu advised that one should not put the money you will miss and I am of the opinion that merging with friends will make one spread the risk.

  35. Abiodun Idowu responds:

This is to me too good to believe!!But to be sincere with ourselves life is all about risk.My advice to everybody is don’t invest what you cannot afford to loose or part with.

Deolu, you have said it all.A word they say is enough for the wise.

Guys keep investing but just be careful!!!

  36. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

    Hi Deolu,

Wheneevr i try to view this iste it seems to ‘ open with errors’. The comments are usually cut of by the sides hence I cant seem to be able to read thro the comments properly. Is it my browser or yours?

I cant really clarify what people are saying about the SEC thing for treasure line. I never said they have been certified by SEc all I said was for people to check out the site and confirm not conclude that they have been cretified by SEC.

  37. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

I mean this site and not iste.

  38. Adeolu Akinyemi responds:

    @ Tioluwalase,

I think it’s your browser, or does anybody else have this kind of issue? I’m using the latest version of mozilla as my browser and don’t have any of these issues… you might want to try it. Let me know if there are any other issues.

And thanks for clarifying so many issues about SEC e.t.c here. Well appreciated.

  39. dame responds:

I think Nigeria has gone beyond those days when one man or a body can reap off Nigeria just like that, our regulatory bodies are up to the task.
I have invested 4 slots in nonspecto and have made my pay back 2 ys ago, i have started with sefteg and am in my 2nd months,so i nurse no fear or risk.
If u are scared, pls keep ur money in the bank and dont spread news u cant back up.

  40. Ibrahim responds:

Yes I have the same issue Tioluwalase raised. The comment are cut-off from the lef side margin. I use IE version 6 and I’m don’t have the administrative rights to install anything on my coy’s system.

Well, as a temporary measure, I just copy the messages out to a word document or even notepad. This brings out every character in all messages

  41. Tioluwalase Olumide responds:

Chris, I think your statement- ‘It is too un-professional for a Nigerian parastatal and it appears to have been manually typed ( my dog could produce this page in it’s sleep - If I had one ‘ is somewhat rude. If there is an issue with something think you should clarify rather than castigate. People like you are the ones that make people keep information when they have it.

  42. ayo responds:

Though I have not invested but I know many people who did and have received their pay off.

    The earlier the better.

  43. Chris responds:

    Tioluwalase, Ibrahim, Haba

Tis a pity you’ve decided to take my observation PERSONAL.

In case you did not notice, I critisized the DESIGN of the site and not the fact that YOU posted it. It was a straight observation which is supposed to help in researching the matter further ( which is wot Ibrahim did ).

Loosen up. I know this issue is tense and investing your money is very personal, but please, keep an open mind, share your findings and please welcome other people’s observations. Even if we appear too “NOT TECHIE” to use the internet.

Oh, by the way, I still think the SEC site is $£!tty :)

  44. Ibrahim responds:

    Hey Chris

Pls read my post again. I didn’t take it personal with you. I just dont think its healthy to call the site a phis simply because its not too professional (at least in your opinion) and also the statement about ypur dog.

By the way I have not invested. For me, it rather sounds too good to be true, then the mail from Deolu’s friend Joshua. However, this is Nigeria and we are talking about oil business here. Allmost anything is possible in the Nigerian oil industry. I’ve heard of people earning thousands of USD on a daily basis.

  45. jaggar responds:

    Hi All,

I’m new to this site, and first of all will like to say thanks to Adeola for the innovation; I have appreciated all the information’s been shared on this forum and hope long it continues.
I think d watchword is caution and on one should get carried away.

    Michael

  46. olu responds:

Nice job setting up this forum as it is very informative and entertaining.

There is sumtin we’ve gat to realize, there is nuttin that goes up and does not come down. whether its regulated by law or listed on SEC does not have any bearings whatsoever, afterall banks and companies do collapse.

The most important thing is jump in early with ur eyes wide open. After making ur initial investment, u can then think bout the next approach.

So far, has anyone gotten back any form of payment from treasurelink. I was told they started last august, it’s bout time someone gets paid.

  47. Omoarukhe Stephen responds:

Hi Deolu, I,m quite impressed by your site. Actually I heard about sefteg yesterday and I was very curious and sceptical about the whole thing ‘cos its too good to be true, but as the saying goes “no risks, no reward”. My question is as a student is it quite advisable to take this unmeasurable risk?

  48. Firegem responds:

    Hi Deolu,

Reading the article above made me thing again about HYIP [High Yield Investment Programs]. I would like to know if you have at anytime looked at such programs that are offered online and if you think we can make any money from them. I can say i have read a whole lot about them in the past couple of days, but then i am not so much of an investment guru, so i can’t really say but i am thinking of taking the rist with little amounts to see if i can make some money, but i would still like your opinion or anyone else who might have some clue?

    Thanks

By the way keep up the good work of trying to give us all the chance to hit it big

  49. SOJ responds:

I had a friend who works at Firstbank, run a check on Sefteg account. He found out that the deposits are left dormant for a long period of time and during this time frame there appears to be no major withdrawal made for something like investing in the so-called oil and gas they are into.It appears that they simply make payouts using other peoples deposits.Sounds complex? No,actually its very easy to do:just keep on accepting deposits and make payouts using the deposits and in a fixed period of time the set-up may foldup.Infact, Sefteg was incorporated last year, which makes it more difficult to understand why they havent invested people monies up till now. Some of these deposits are even kept in fixed deposits……and the interests?Well, your guess is as good as mine…If you have something conflicting please dont hesitate to reply this post.

  50. Onaiwu responds:

luvin the comments…by the way you can reach treasure line on 01-8790898…perhaps someone could shed more light on the rumor that CBN’s governor’s “hammer” coming down on these “illegal finance houses” especially with the blackmail campaign being run by a so called “association of finance houses” that fingered nospecto as illegal in a publication in The punch newspaper…i find the possibility rather absurd but then…and if ma lil question strikes fear in you heart, then i guess you have no business dealing with “high risk, high yield” investments

  51. aisha responds:

i tried the lines for sefteg but none is going thru. any more numbers?

  52. Titilope responds:

I visited Sefteg’s office last week friday and was surprised to find out that the office operate from a one room back office with just two staff. Intending investors should be cautious of where they put there money!

  56. Oluwafemi Obasan responds:

I heard sefteg is moving from abibu oki street on lagos isalnd to FCMB building on oyinjolayemi in VI by april 02,2007.
my advice is you invest what wont make u colapse in case it is a scam.all the best my guyz

  61. Ilemobade responds:

I was only informed about Sefteg Nig. Company yesterday and my friend told me it might be real. Although he hasn’t invested into it. Maybe if I have some excess cash I might just tried and invest a little into it.

  69. Justyn responds:

    Deolu,

How can I apply to work with GFS?

  70. Loads responds:

    Emeka,
There is no investment that can be guaranteed not even stock and shares or property

  71. Tayo responds:

Emeka, that’s the simple answer. None is guaranteed! That’s why you need knowledge and information such that you can balance your risk appropriately.

  72. Ebenezer responds:

    Deolu

I’m interested in the saphire club of the first inland bank but don’t you think a website is needed in order to make success as you have rightly analysed?

  73. Bankole Adeola responds:

    Deolu,
more power to your elbow. You’re doing a great job in making people realise the impending danger in not looking before they leap.I’m just a beginner in this site.
Can you just put more light on ‘referral’ involved in GFS because I’m contemplating on joining in due course.

  74. james responds:

Does anyone know any scheme called web solutions,i will really appreciate ur urgent response

  75. Kayode Ehiz responds:

    Dear All,
Nigerians and human being generally dont and will never learn from history.
The era of the finance houses was a blessing and a curse to many till date, the fortune/Eriri Eriri; Umana umana, etc
Now again, Nospetco and few has restarted the money doubling scheme and the field is being flooded by other money multipliers now…………….be careful!
Whie limiting yourself to 10-30% returns monthly when you can make more yourself? With N1m, you get N10K - 30Kmonthly to recover your capital in about 4 - 12 months. But with time and a good broker to advice, you could make 50-100% between 1 - 3months. This is what they wont tell you, and because they believe (and often right) that the average Nigerian is mentally weak and physically relaxed, they take us for a ride.
May I ask you all this simple question: under what legislation (CAMA, etc) are these company registered in Nigeria and are they permitted to operate in money matter the way they do? Pls be careful, cos if EFCC wages in as done to finance houses, then your sweat would fly away right within your own eyes.
My sumission is just am advice. If you do it, pray to get your invested capital out + small profit before they all vapourise.
See ya next time. Am watching and I sincerely pray my fears dont come to pass.

  76. Fatai responds:

    HI
    @Kayode Ehiz
pls can you recommend any broker that can achieve that result of 100%in 3 months because i still spoke to one on saturday and his promise was 50%PA.
    thanks

  77. Ade responds:

    hi guys,
i have actually invested in sefteg and until date i have been able to get 2 months payment and am expecting the 3rd before the end of the month. i think sefteg is real but what baffles me is that the 5% bonus they claim to be paying on every investment of every customer u refer seem not to be true. i have reffered over 7 people but i have not gotten a dime on any of their investments…infact, i have made reports to 1 of the ladies in charge of the whole business but the reply i got is ‘refferal bonus is on hold for now’…but really, i am very okay as long as the 30% on my investment gets to me monthly. please guys, i need info on wealth solutions. i’l like to know if anyone here in into it or knows anyone that has a testimony about dem.
    Ade

  78. baggio responds:

    Dear all,

i find this forum very interesting ,however i realize that most of us potential investors are not investing in the most important asset ,YOURSELF.
i assume everyone here wants to be wealthy, but in order to realize ur dreams you have to LEARN TO EARN YOURSELF. If you invest in educating urself FINANCIALLY, U CAN USE ur knowledge to earn even more money than these schemes promises, more importantly, u have CONTROL over ur money.

    Deolu,

i really appreciate ur views and insights .I hope ur ideas turn into wealth and goodluck !

  79. aisha responds:

Ade, pls. i need more info on sefteg.i tried their lines but they r not working. i want to make an investment . pls. reply

  84. ngozi responds:

    Hello Deolu

Bros thumbs up keep the good work up

  87. blaksmith responds:

i invested in sefteg in march after researching on it for about a month and a half.i have received my april payment.no matter how much research is done on these high yield schemes it does not reduce the risk involved.people go on about how legitimate they are but what would you say about banks that go under for not being able to meet up with current cbn regulations.were they not also legitimate?it’s best to get what you can now before the bubble bursts..it is bound to burst.once the market gets saturated then some people are going to be crying foul.

get as much as you now that you can…just don’t be greedy…

the time frame i would give these schemes is 2yrs.
i hear wealth solutions have the most outrageous payout.they started in january…they still have about 18months to live..(for them however i think i’l give them 12months.)

    happy investing to all

  89. seun responds:

hi guys,am new in da house, heard sefteg, treasureline, wealthsolution accts wth gtb bank has been frozen by efcc…can someone pls make some findings on the true facts…nice job deolu.

  90. bebe responds:

    hi deolu,
heard this morning that Ribadu(efcc) said all these investment companies shld stop all transactions for now and that all banks shld not pay from thier acct.says he wants to carry out some investigations on them all.ow true is it?pls respond as soon as u get any info.

  91. Mary responds:

I am shocked at what Nigerians can do to their fellow Nigerians. Do we hate ourselves this much. After reading all the series of mails from contributors. I am angered at what these companies are doing to fellow Nigerians. A lot of investors will not survive losing their investments no matter how little theyhave invested. This is daylight robbery. We know how greedy people are. Our love for money is uncomparable to none. This issue is a very serious one. The banks want free funds. The investors are money monkers, the companies involved are fraudulent, the regulatory authorities are also mischieveous? Do the EFCC want to tell us they are just getting to know about the existence of these companies? Some of them have operated for years and months. Our regulatory bodies should find out and monitor activities of companies who go into funds management. How many people in the public have access to the internet to know what’s happening? I pity all those who have put in all their life savings expecting returns that will never come to pass.

All investors who have invested should take heart. May the Good Lord give you all the grace to bear your losses.

  92. seun responds:

mary,u shldnt jump to conclutions dat all the people dat ave invested into these coy ave lost their money, try and be optimistic in your reasoning nd learn how to encourage instead of running people down…investigation dosnt mean the end.

  93. seun responds:

Deolu, pls could u confirm if the freezing of the so called investments bank accts by efcc is realy true.cos i know couple of people who payed into wealthsolution’s first bank accts today….if all debits and credits into their accts ave been stopped, why are the banks still accepting payments…pls let someone make some genuine findings.

  94. Tinuke oyinlola responds:

    Hello Deolu,
Can you confirm if there is any stay action on this investment?
I was in the GTB to pay toda and was told to hold on for awhile because an investigation is currently going on .
    Thanks.

    Proshare News
NEWS ALERT – Investors in Private Oil Deals
    Posted Friday, April 27, 2007

There is unconfirmed news that the EFCC via its NFI Unit has commenced investigations into the following schemes: Nospetco, Flagship, Sefteg, Wealth Zone, Wealth Solution, Treasureline and Greenmind.

Though we are unable to confirm this information at this time, the source (who works for a bank) claimed that all banks in Nigeria have been instructed to freeze the accounts of these firms (No credit no debit) effective 25th April 2007.

i will welcome any confirmation on this investment outlet that has generated a lot of attention lately.

  96. oluseye responds:

  101. oluwafemi responds:

I must say a big thank you Deolu for the way you analysed both sefteg and treasurelink. What i want everyone to understand is that no business comes without its own risk.I somehow believe sefteg, reason:its a mind thing and i will follow my heart.I plan starting with as low as 50k and i will see what will come out of it.I will also love to invest with Genesis solution because of the fact that i trust the owners.Like the popular saying goes ‘follow your heart and Shine your eyes.

  102. tunde adeoti responds:

no matter what we speculate about this invesment stuff the fact still remain that until you try it personally you can’t say anything outrightly, just make a trial with what you can go to bed without worry on. i am going to look for them personally tommorrow please any one got contact with any of them recently? kindly let me know the latest gist about any of sefteg, treasurelink or nopestco

  103. faithflux responds:

    Hi Deolu,

You are doing a good job.
To as many as aired their comments, I think we all need to look before we leap, then get evidence of whatever irregularities or abnormality in these ‘finance houses’ so people can make informed judgement.

I think the people with meaningful information should share with the house.

Keep the good work going Deolu and well done.

I just got to know about this website few days ago thru my bossom friend(Enoch). I have read thru all the mails sent by the contributors and i must confess have been really blessed by what i have seen so far. Deolu, you know what! YOU ARE TOO MUCH. God bless you . we need more of people like you and me in this Country-Nigeria.There are two main things i would like to discuss with you for now. First,

Secondly, i have an idea that i think is worth sharing, but i will like to discuss that with you pesonally if you can arragement for us to meet. My phone no-08052080931.Tnx,God bless you real good.

  108. baby 12 responds:

    deolu,

  109. tunde Ola-adeoti responds:

I learnt that the pay -in of wealth solution have been adjusted with effect from 16th -may 2007(wednesday) week 17. the minimum is now 21 slots - i.e N34,650, rate per slot is now N1650.

I guess this is as aresult of increase in partronage, you need not hear how much people are patronizing them each day.

we pray tthat the jealous bank moguls will not succeed in running down this God-giving privileges to the middle and lower class masses

  114. sholly responds:

    Hi Deolu,

They said a word is enough for the wise. In this case of Sefteg investment actaully i did it in november and till today i have collected 5 times my 15000k am waiting this month payment it is optional it is not force but the thing is that you should not put the money you will suffer for if the thing in not true.

it is always ‘ Na lie Na Lie in nigeria if we did not buy lie we will not buy the true ‘ .

So in my own view i thought it is true for now.

  115. Jide Ogungbade responds:

I really don’t know which to follow now,
I want to put some money on this wealth solution and sefteg.
But comment from people here may make hold on or put in little that i wont miss too much

  116. Oludare Atinshola responds:

    Thanks

  118. stellamarris responds:

    oludare,

why are u afraid?remember the process u went thru to pay!u were not afraid then,it is after payment that u are now afraid?is to late to cry when the head is cut -off ooooo,Dont mind me i was only pulling your legs.

Remember the slogger.”dont put what u cannot afford to loose!!!

  119. stellamarris responds:

I think there are now too many of this hyip,so let get more information about them before making payments,if u must make.Moreso, the fact that they have account nos in the bank is not a guarantee for payment b/c the data banks may have maybe fake,so let us be carefull

the new era of the hyip now is payment of as low as =N=2000.00,some do not even have an office where u can visit and chat with them all u have is phone nos after payment .

    ‘be carefull when investing’.

  120. osee finian responds:

weel, all said and done, it worth giving a trial.
i’ve made up my mind to invest what can’t hurt me.
it’s 50-50. you either venture inlife or you vergetate.
life and investment is all about risk…period.

  121. DARA responds:

    Hi Oludare,

Please guy give us the contact details of cashseeds. That is phone number, contact person and contact address. Thanks man.

  122. Jimmy responds:

I guess this is a begining of becoming what you desire in life but it all centers round your motive either to be a millionaire using this methods or just growing your wealth as a civil servant. if you must know no man on the suface of this earth can be a rich man based on his/her salary regardless of the Disposeable Income at its position hence the risky events and acts makes them who they are today.

Bless in a country where investment is just on the touch road one would say why not a broker…but tell me really can u get a good yeild as this froma broker ar those who are trying to meets their daily needs make brokeages payment not to speak on investing in shares. the facts remains that all that matters is the low and mighty are all living within the same vinciity just that you see them differently.

I will like to advise that take every chance you can and make the fat goodies you can get and leave the candy for the new-comers . as regards treasure-link I had a scheme with them earlier february but it took them longer than stated to get the returns which was just few days ago…imagine what that would have done if in the oda investment programms that promises 8weeks returns. I feel treasure link is cool but they are time consuming not just slot or months but really sluggish in payment and won’t advice anyone to step into it as the days are not counting to them.

for those who have address of the other schemes kindly mail it to me and break the plans on it soperations…imagine what the wave is now reviewing of investment plans why you may ask? this is to reduce the yeild paid and get in more investors like me and you.

for the rates used, i have not gotten any institution that can produce that valueable returns without you paying a huge cost of capital and snapshot by monitoring agencies…sometimes last 3weeks was informed EFCC closed teh accounts of all these scheme operators and after a while releases it. in the papers of Tell last month some directors and operators of such scheme were arressted in Ibadan by EFCC and still in detention…it was tagged Exploitation…Hi folks i just sent a mail to Sefteg and got a response while written this to you and imagine that they are just online but can this not be the next “FORUM BANK style”

I am still expecting you guys to hint me more on 8weeks returns and amount breakdoen for invetsment…sorry would like to ask, why don’t we know this people but instead they come through agents? food for tought.

But you know what? the answer to your question lies with you, what do you want? What can you risk?

I made up my mind that i was not going to do any more of all these HYIP’s again, i want to just focus my attension on just a few like these clubfreedom stuff and Forex.

See, i have like 3 slots in it and they are moving very fine and soon i will be earning $6,000 over and over again some will just be within few weeks. We are talkin about 700k plus over and over again!

and like i told my friends i said if i now put my money in any HYIP again it will be like Ronaldihno asking for Ronaldo’s autograph coz these is part of what these guys do and pay us peanuts.

Think about it and make up your mind.

    See you at the TOP!

  135. Tioluwalase responds:

@ all, I think all this CBN and EFCC saga is becoming too uch o!
    I
The moment I hear CBN or EFCC my heart skips a bit, whether you follow the rule or not, you still do not want to lose any money. Here I am with and majority of the people I know we are yet to collect WS week 17, Nospetco is messing me up, I do not know what will become of others with time, May 29 is around the corner, whether sick or not, I dont know what Alh Yadua is up to. Will Mr Goodluck actually bring us Goodluck? Or will the duo decide to ……..It’s better imagined than said.

For me, I have decided to face Clubfreedom squarely, no efcc, no cbn no sec registrations, just you and your computer. It is pertinent now especially with my great grandfather Deolu having collected $6K twice, and about to out run me again, Dipo , My granfather has collected once and on the journey to the second, my father is on his way to collecting and me the begotten son on STANDBY, i am standing by and working hard to to collect mine, with this I have piece of mind. Another good thing, I collect once and a chance to collect over and over, what more? I can plan my progress and go to bed, not keep one eye opened because CBN might decide to cough tomorrow and Efcc sneeze and there I go looking for cough syrup, to help them pacify their discomfort, abegeeeeeee!

If you are game on this, (CF) please join my team at http://www.clubfreedom.biz/rt17970 you are sure to be a winner, there are no promises without hard work o, so dont think its gonna be easy but with a little effort from every one we can recycle over and over. WHAT’S HYIP
A High Yield Investment Program, or HYIP, is a type of pyramid scheme normally offered via the Internet. HYIPs typically accept deposits as low as $1 while promising astoundingly high returns.

Online HYIP schemes rarely last for the long term. Overwhelming number of cases suggest that HYIPs are Ponzi schemes, in which new investors provide the cash to pay a profit to existing investors, which they typically then withdraw.[citation needed] This approach allows the scam to continue as long as new investors are found and/or old investors leave their money in the scheme, known as compounding (because even higher profits are promised).

The introduction of e-currencies has made it possible for HYIPs to operate on the internet and cross international boundaries, and to accept large numbers of small investments. HYIPs usually accept deposits by either e-currency, like e-gold, e-bullion and INTGold, or use specialist third party payment processors like AlertPay, SolidTrustPay, CEPTrust, TriStarMoneyChangers and StormPay. HYIPs typically offer a significant incentive commission (for example, 9% of invested funds) for members to attract and refer new investors.

Most HYIPs disclose little or no detail about the underlying management, location, or other aspects of how money is to be invested, and relatively little information (other than asserting that they do various types of trading on various stock and other exchanges) on how they actually generate the returns they purport. They are sometimes presented with some form of an emotional appeal, appeals for faith, and promises that they will help investors achieve financial freedom.

Arguably, the largest HYIP scam that has existed on the internet was PIPS (People in Profit System or Pure Investors)[1][2]. The investment scheme was started by Bryan Marsden in early 2004, (according to the Wayback Machine record of http://pureinvestor.com) and spanned more than 20 countries. PIPS was investigated by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2005 which resulted in Marsden and his wife being charged in a Malaysian court with 97 counts of money laundering involving more than RM77 million - US$20 million - (copy of New Straits Times article dated 11 Oct 2006). Even after these charges were brought forth many of Marsden’s followers/investors continued to support him and believe they would see their money some day. This behavior and denial could be seen and still is seen on hyip forums such as Talkgold Forum and others.

    WHAT’S A PONZI SCHEME
    Overview
A Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises (and pays) require
